Curse of the Black Crow

In 2009, we had trouble with the black crow re-fermenting in the bottle, so when we were at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge for some delicious deserts a couple nights ago, and C. told us that one of our Black Crow bottles was pushing out a cork, we assumed the worst.  It was with heavy hearts that we drove home, wondering how many other bottles were out there, pushing corks.

When we got home, I put the wine on the table, and was about to pull off the shrink wrap when I noticed there was a second cork in the bottle, what we lovingly call a Tak Special.  Every year Tak does this at least once, usually we catch it at the time, but I guess this one slipped through.

Wayyyyyyy better than re-fermenting bottles!
