More on the Hatch of 2009

Well, in the end we had 9 naked neck chicks and 2 indian runner ducks.  Today I added 8 araucana chicks to the mix and you get what is below.  A whole pile of cuteness.  Anyhow, we also have another 42 eggs on the go, of which 37 of them are from PEI from an araucana breeder out there.  We picked up the eggs from her when we visited PEI and brought them home on the airplane.  The people in security were thinking we were a little weird when we went through!

I also forgot to post a picture of the loverly Historic Maplethorpe B and B.  The owners Dianna and Jim were fun and knowlegeable about the area even though they are technically from “away”.  However, the web address is
