Stress!

A quick note…… Making wine is stressful.  Actually, I should qualify that statement.  Making wine to sell is stressful.  Our first wine that we picked has been smelling a bit off for the last few days and I thought perhaps it was because something had gone wrong. However, when Ben went down this morning to get ready for racking he came up with an incredulous look on his face. The wine smelt great! And tasted pretty good.  What the hell?  Anyhow, I guess as we get better and more familiar with the whole process on a grander scale we’ll figure it out.  It’ll take a few years maybe 20 until we are sompletely confident I bet.  Well, ta.
